Much has happened since the closing of the 45 day Public Comment period regarding the Keystone XL Draft SEIS on April 22, 2013...

Many have been agog concerning this subject.  Amongst the myriad of articles published thus far, I have chosen two articles for your perusal.  The first was written by Ben BRUMFIELD from CNN, and was published on April 23, 2013; and the second was written by Nick SNOW, Washington Editor of Oil & Gas Journal, and was published on April 29, 2013.  They are as follows:

      1)    Oil, Money and Politics; EPA Snags Keystone XL Pipeline

      2)  EPA Critiques Keystone XL Draft Supplemental EIS

The EPA Comment Letter, dated April 22, 2013, referred to in the two previous articles may be found at the following link:

Keystone XL Project DSEIS - EPA Comment Letter

I have also included what might be called a “Letter of Concern” dated April 18, 2013.  This letter was signed by several members of Congress, addressed to Secretary of State John KERRY, and“strongly encourages the State Department to reevaluate the SEIS and its assessment of the proposed pipeline’s impact (…)” (Page 1).  The link to said letter may be found below:

N. B.:  There will be another 45 day Public Comment period for the final Keystone XL Pipeline Draft SEIS in the near future.

Stay tuned!
