As the countdown of the 45 day public evaluation period of the proposed Draft Supplemental Environmental Impact Statement for the Keystone Pipeline XL [prepared in accordance to the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA)] progresses, I thought it prudent to present this document to a wider audience. My first blog post dated December 11, 2012 featured an article from High Country News which spoke about Mr. Fred STARRH, a prominent cotton grower in Kern County, California USA, who sued Aera Energy LLC, a California Oil and Gas Producer, for contaminating his farm's groundwater supply with Oilfield production waste water.  This 10 year court battle continues, as a trial for punitive damages began two weeks ago within Kern County Superior Court.
